ISEDALE AFRICAN PROJECT found through divine intervention of the coming
together of Olalekan Okanlawon a k a ISEDALE and Olukayode N. Orikeye
ISEDALE AFRICAN PROJECT was established in the year 2002; the project became an enterprise in the year 2012 and was dully registered with the Cooperate Affairs Commission of Nigeria BN: 2238887 the same year
It is a project because of the task ahead: The African culture in Nigeria is fast vanishing away, so ISEDALE AFRICAN PROJECT is out to reawaken the about to be forgotten African culture and tradition
If religion is guiding against traditional way of worship, it does not take away the African language, cuisine, Dance, fashion, music, art and way of life
As a socio-cultural enterprise we manage cultural event, promote African music, fashion and creativity
The project runs a band (Isedale & Di Cowries) lead by Olalekan Okanlawon a k a ISEDALE
ISEDALE & Di COWRIES plays a genre of music that consist of Traditional African Folks (TAF) and a fusion of Jazz
With spectacular dance performance by the dance troupe.
The band have since performed at the French Cultural Center Lagos, the Osun Osogbo festival Osogbo, guest artist at the YOMAFA award night organized by the Lagos Television in conjunction with Leo Gold Productions and 3 editions of FELABRATION.
UNVEILING OF ISEDALE AFRICA PROJECT
So far the project has been able to work on the band’s first album and officially unveils its self on December 2nd, 2012 proudly enthused by MTN Communications Nigeria Ltd.
